Living on an RV takes planning and patience. Full-time living is not short of it’s challenges, but they will make you a better person.
Our stay with Indianapolis KOA was very expensive and did not include many amenities. The park is spacious and well-kept, however, there are many other Indy RV parks (maybe not quite as nice) at a much better value.
The Indianapolis KOA was founded in 2005 and is minutes from Downtown Indy. The campground accommodates large RVs, tent camping, and everything in-between.
We’re here at basecamp Indianapolis where we’ve spent the last four weeks hanging out with family and (once again) servicing the RV. But now that everything is (hopefully) in working order, it’s time we hit the road for a Big Holiday!
We stayed at the Tropical Palms Carefree RV Resort while visiting Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Our stay included 4 weeks of undesirable resort conditions and customer service, but the savings and proximity to area attractions are very hard to ignore.
An update from the road! We’re traveling North to Washington, DC. Daddy is attending the 5th annual DAD 2.0 SUMMIT blogging conference. The summit is a meeting between dad influencers and marketers to discuss the ever-evolving voice of modern fatherhood. He can’t wait!
Tropical Palms Carefree RV Resort (Orlando, FL) is managed by the folks at Carefree Communities, the fifth largest operator of motorhome and recreational vehicle resorts in North America. We chose their Orlando location based on advertised amenities and close proximity to Walt Disney World, but as quickly as our stay with Tropical Palms began, we discovered the resort wasn’t as carefree as originally promised.
In this week’s episode…it’s Christmas!!! Is celebrating the holidays in an RV a royal pain, or an amazing experience? We have 3 boys, so you never know.
In this edition we cover two major events we attended on the way down to Florida from the great state of Michigan. I also provide coverage of my first real RV FAIL. You won’t believe the boneheaded move I made at the pump last week.
About roadiculous: My wife and I met in Albuquerque, New Mexico about 10 years ago. We worked together for a number of years and shared similar interests (especially craft beer) and life goals.
